Procedure for collection of fingerprints in order to obtain a Schengen visa

As of September 2015 the procedure for collecting fingerprints will be required to obtain a Schengen visa.

The introduction of biometric visas is a global project, implemented by the European Union all over the world. Earlier, a similar system has already been introduced in Northern Africa, Latin America and other countries.

In the near future the Russian representative office of the European Union will start an information campaign, during which it will attempt to explain the new rules and conditions for obtaining biometric visas.
