Introduction of quotas for hiring young professionals
The draft amendments to the Labor Code and the Law of the Russian Federation # 1032-1 "On employment in the Russian Federation" have been submitted to the State Duma.
According to this project, employers with more than 250 employees have quotas set at the rate of 2% of the total number of employees for the recruitment of young professionals who graduated from state or municipal secondary professional and higher educational institutions for full-time education under the age of 25, and for whom work with the received specialty and qualification in the given organization will be their first employment.
For such specialists will be given work corresponding to the received specialty and qualification.
