On simplifying the migration regime for citizens of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) and the Lugansk People's Republic (LNR)
The State Duma of the Russian Federation is considering draft laws that will facilitate the stay in Russia and the employment of citizens of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) and the Lugansk People's Republic (LNR).
According to the first draft law, it was proposed to cancel the restriction on the terms of stay of immigrants - to stay in Russia for not more than 90 days within each period of 180 days, which is connected with difficulties with regards to return entry after 3 months.
According to the second draft law, it is planned to legalize about 200-300 thousand citizens of the Lugansk People's Republic and the Donetsk People's Republic to engage in employment activity in Russia without the need for a patent.
