Registration of Foreign Citizens on the Territory of the Russian Federation

Regarding the extension of the list of regions for the priority recruitment of human resources

According to the proposal of Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, it is offered to include these territorial regions of the Russian Federation in the list for the priority recruitment  of human resources:

• Samara region
• Sakha (Yakutia) Republic
• Zabaykalsky Krai
• Jewish Autonomous Region
• Komi Republic
• Republic of Buryatia

At the same time, it is also proposed to exclude the Lipetsk and Novosibirsk regions from the list of priority regions.

For exception/addition from this list there is a variety of reasons, among which there is a shortage of qualified personnel, independent desire of an exception of the list and others.

Thus, the lack of qualified personnel was found in the Jewish Autonomous Region due to the active development of mining and processing of mineral resources, and the Novosibirsk region expressed a desire to be excluded from the list. In the Republic of Buryatia, the Republic of Komi and Sakha (Yakutia), a number of organizations expressed a desire to participate in a regional program to increase the mobility of labor resources in the region.
