On October 1, 2010 the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia hosted a conference in Moscow where issues and trends in HR management were the main focus. Attending were more than 150 HR-specialists representing Russian and foreign companies whose business activities cover all the major industries. The law firm of LEVINE Bridge also participated in the event which was held at the Hotel Ararat Park Hyatt in Moscow.
As part of the on-going and active discussion, the theme of the conference was on the changing role of HR in the development and support of strategic business decisions. It was attended by more than a dozen business leaders sharing their broad professional experience and overall vision in how specifically to address the key challenges facing virtually all HR-professionals presently working in the Russian labor market.
As is tradition, the conference began with a general session before participants, including the staff of LEVINE Bridge, broke off into separate working groups to discuss various aspects of HR management and its changing role in the modern work environment. At a general closing session it was noted that the role of HR professionals varies from simple administration and recruiting to a full business partnership. This trend has a positive impact on operational management decisions that are important and will be vital for further professional development in the field.
As a result of HR-conference, the participants strengthened their proposal. The acquired knowledge will be applied by the specialists at LEVINE Bridge.
