Foreign citizens will face more difficulties in obtaining employment

The Government has established a list of requirements on the qualifications for foreign citizens engaged in labor activity on the territory of the Russian Federation and serving as employees of WTO member countries foreign affiliates.

According to government regulation, the specific qualification requirements are as follows:

- at least four-year experience in the relevant field of activity;
- academic degree or title recognized in the Russian Federation;
- the existence of a letter of recommendation from the company or the union;
- the presence of the achievements confirmed by patents.

A foreigner arriving in Russia to work at the branch office of a foreign company is obliged to correspond to two or more of the following requirements.
