About 7000 foreign employees’ patents have been declared invalid due to non-payment
The Office for Migration Research Affairs of the Russian Federation in Moscow in the last two months has recognized almost 7 000 foreign employees’ patents, for which payment has not been received in due time as invalid.
Foreign citizens were sent SMS-notification that no information has been received regarding the payment of the patent in the database of the Office for Migration Research Affairs of Russia in Moscow.
At the same time, foreign citizens who did not show up in the Multi-migration center in Sakharovo to confirm effected payment.
Thus, the continued presence of a foreign citizen with an invalid patent on the territory of Russia is illegal, and he/she is obliged to immediately leave the territory of the Russian Federation.
Violators face fines of up to 5 000 to 7 000 Rubles, deportation and a ban on future entry into Russia.
Offices for Migration Research Affairs of Russian Federation in Moscow have reported that the process for identifying foreign citizens residing illegally in Russia will be continued.
Foreign citizens are required to pay for patents through the bank, at the same time clearly indicate tax number and other reference details in payment receipt. Detailed instructions for payment of the patent are available on the website of the Multi-migration center, and every person can contact specialists at the Migration Center.
