The procedure for calculating the maternity benefits, childbirth, childcare for insured accidents that occurred in 2017

The FSS of Russia clarified the procedure for calculating maternity benefits, as well as the monthly allowance for the care of the child for insured accidents occurring in 2017.

These benefits are calculated on the basis of the average daily earnings by dividing the amount of accrued earnings for 2 calendar years (according to the general rule - the previous year of the holiday) by the number of calendar days in this period.

If the billing period consists of 2014 and 2015, the number of calendar days per period is 730, and the billing period of 2015-2016 is 731 days in connection with the leap year.

Thus, the maximum amount of the average daily earnings for the calculation of maternity benefits and childbirth, the monthly benefits for childcare, on insured accidents in 2017, will be 1901.37 rubles ((718000.00 + 670000.00) / 730).
