Approved list of territorial subjects of the Russian Federation with an aggravated situation in the labor market
The Ministry of Labor of Russia approved a list of 20 territorial subjects of the Russian Federation that are classified as territories with an aggravated situation in the labor market according to the results of 2016-2017.
The list includes the following subjects of the Federation:
• The Republics of Karelia, Adygeya, Kalmykia, Dagestan, Ingushetia, North Ossetia-Alania, Mariy El, Altai, Buryatia, Tyva, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, Chechen Republic;
• Kurgan, Irkutsk, Kemerovo, Tomsk regions;
• Altai and Trans-Baikal Territories;
• Jewish Autonomous Region.
These regions are included in the list on the basis of Rostrud's data on the level of employment, total unemployment, registered unemployment, and the proportion of unemployed people looking for work for 12 or more months over the last two years.
The list of territories with an aggravated situation in the labor market is sent by the Ministry of Labor of Russia to federal and regional executive bodies for taking measures to stabilize the situation within the labor market.
