It is proposed to allocate quotas for employment for people living in the North and the Far East
The draft bill "On establishing job quotas for certain categories of citizens residing in the territories of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation that are part of the Far Eastern Federal District, as well as in the Far North and in areas equated to the regions of the Far North, was submitted to the State Duma."
This bill pertains to parents with many children, parents of disabled children, orphans, newly employed youth, veterans, former military personnel and their families, persons of pre-retirement age, as well as unemployed citizens who permanently reside in the Far Eastern Federal District in the regions of the Far North for not less than ten years.
If in these regions employers have more than 100 employees, then they must establish quotas for employment of the above categories of citizens in the amount of 4% of the average number of people, and for a population of 35 to 100 people - 10%.
