About the illegality for not issuing an employee pay sheets with information on employee wages
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation established that failing to issue employee pay sheets with information on components of employee wages is a gross violation of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.
In a letter issued by the Ministry of Labor, it states that, an employer is obliged to issue pay sheets when transferring wages to bank cards. According to Article 136 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation, the employer is obliged to inform the employee on the components of paid wages and the amounts accrued to him or her.
It is also noted that this obligation of the employer cannot be cancelled by agreement of the parties, or on the basis of the collective agreement as it established by legislation of the Russian Federation.
