Regarding the possibility of obtaining an Insurance Number of an Individual Ledger Account in electronic form
According to Federal Law No. 48-FZ dated April 1, 2019, the obligation to issue insurance certificates for compulsory pension insurance to insured persons is now excluded, as it possible, at the choice of an individual, to send a document confirming registration in the system of individual (personified) accounting in the form of an electronic document, as well as in any other way, including in paper form hand delivered via the post office.
It is also important to note that earlier received insurance certificates do not lose their relevance and are equal to documents of a new format.
It is worth noting, data on the Insurance Number of Individual Ledger Account, as before, will be provided by the citizen independently when applying for state and municipal services.
