Regarding the transfer of information on the labor activity of employees to the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation

The State Duma has received a draft law, according to which employers will be obligated to provide the pension fund of Russia with information about the employment activity of employees. According to the bill, an individual personal account in the system of personalized accounting is planned to be supplemented with a section that will contain information about the labor activity of the registered person, namely: - employment history; - employment position; - specialty; - qualification; - transfer to another place of work - termination and grounds for termination of the employment contract. From January 1, 2020, this data will have to be received from employers on a monthly basis, and from January 1, 2021, the above information will be provided not only every month, but also in cases of hiring/termination of an employee no later than the working day following the day of the order. If the number of insured persons for the previous reporting month is 25 or more, the data on them will be submitted in the form of an electronic document through the use of the Pension Fund of Russia service. In the same way, information will be provided by the policyholders whose number of insured persons is less than 25. Administrative responsibility will be provided for failure to provide the relevant information.
