Regarding sending information about employees' labor activity to the Pension Fund of Russia (PFR)

According to the instructions of the PFR, employers are obligated, by the 15th day of the month following the reporting month, to send to the PFR information related to the labor activity of their employees for the purpose of forming electronic employment records.

This information should include information on the hiring/transfer to another job or position/or the employee’s dismissal. It is also necessary to notify the PFR of a change in the name of the company, and if the employee has written an application to choose the format of his/her employment record book.

The obligation to send this information to the PFR applies to all companies as well as entrepreneurs with hired workers. It is possible to provide this information through the insurer's personal office, the client service of the PFR or a telecom operator. Companies whose staff is more than 25 employees should submit this information in electronic form.
