Regarding the opening of the Russian border for transit of citizens of CIS, Abkhazia, Ossetia and the lifting of restrictions on entry of citizens of the LDPR

According to the order of the Government of the Russian Federation, restrictions on transit entry into the Russian Federation of foreign citizens from the CIS countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, as well as South Ossetia and Abkhazia, who return to their homeland through the Russian Federation, have been lifted.
It was also noted that Ukraine is not a member of the CIS countries, as it has not ratified the agreement.
In addition, Moscow has decided to lift restrictions on entry into the Russian Federation for those citizens who permanently reside in the territory of Lugansk and the Donetsk People's Republics. The corresponding order appeared on the official portal of legal information of the Russian Federation. In this regard, Rospotrebnadzor was instructed to "ensure sanitary and quarantine control" at the point of entry into Russia of citizens of the People’s Republic of Donetsk and LPR.
