Regarding granting the right to a paid day to undergo medical examinations
According to the addition made to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, employees who have reached the age of 40 years, when passing the medical examination in accordance with the procedure established by law are entitled to exemption from employment for 1 working day once a year with the preservation of place of work and average salary.
At the same time, if it is established by the local normative act of the company, the employees are obliged to provide the employer with the certificates received from the medical organizations where they underwent the medical examination that the medical examination was held on that day.
This rule of 1 day, according to the addendum, does not apply to pensioners and pre-retirees (5 years before retirement age), as there are 2 paid provided for them.
