Regarding ratification of the convention, which simplifies the order of providing foreign documents in Russia

The State Duma has ratified the European Convention on Abolishing the Legalization of Documents Composed by Diplomatic Agents or Consular Officials.
The State Duma has ratified the European Convention on Abolishing the Legalization of Documents Composed by Diplomatic Agents or Consular Officials.
After the entry into force of this document, the citizens of the Convention member States will be allowed to submit to the Russian institutions and organizations the documents issued by the diplomatic and consular institutions of these States in Russia, without consular legalization in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
The same opportunity will be provided to citizens of the Russian Federation, they will be able to submit these documents to the institutions of the Convention States parties without legalization in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of residence.
