On the providing a negative coronavirus test for Russians arriving in Belarus

According to the Decree of the Council of Ministers of Belarus, citizens of the Russian Federation, arriving in Belarus, must provide a document certifying the absence of coronavirus infection.

It is established that the laboratory test, after which this document is obtained, must be carried out no later than 72 hours before the date of crossing the state border of Belarus by polymerase chain reaction. It will be necessary to provide the original medical document in Russian, Belarusian and English.

In addition, the decision of the Council of Ministers of Belarus provides for reduction of the period of self-isolation in case of infection with coronavirus from 14 to 10 days.

It is also reported that the obligation to take a laboratory test will not apply to a number of individuals:

Persons who come from countries where coronavirus infections are registered, in particular, the heads and members of official delegations, persons in transit through the territory of Belarus who have documents confirming the mandatory departure within one day;

Persons who are citizens of the Republic of Belarus, foreign citizens and stateless persons permanently residing in Belarus, arriving on the territory of Belarus after business trip from countries where coronavirus infections are registered;

Persons performing transportation of stem cells and organs for transplantation.

At the same time, the Russian Federation, along with a number of other States, is not included in the list of States where cases of infection are registered, which is periodically updated by the Ministry of health of Belarus.
