Regarding the lifting of coronavirus restrictions in Finland
The Consulate General of Finland resolved to lift all coronavirus restrictions on entry into the country for citizens of the Russian Federation from July 1, 2022. Now it is no longer required to provide a negative PCR test and a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19.
It is reported that visa applications will be processed as usual in accordance with the Visa Code of the European Union. The visa application can be submitted at the visa centers, but please note that a preliminary appointment will be required.
At the same time, the provisions of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 763-r of March 27, 2020 on the restriction of transport communication through land checkpoints have not been canceled. In this connection, it is possible to cross the border with Finland without the grounds specified in the Decree only through air and sea checkpoints.
