Regarding changes in employment contracts with foreign employees


The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation made a proposition to indicate in the employment contract between the employer and foreign employee information about a single document certifying the identity of a foreign citizen in the territory of the Russian Federation, with an electronic data carrier.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs also proposes to include in the employment contract with a foreign employee the grounds for providing the employee with medical care during the term of the employment contract. In this case, those are the details of a voluntary or compulsory medical insurance policy with a validity period of at least one year.

Please note that at  present, the following information must be specified in the employment contract:

• full name of the employee and the name of the employer who signed the employment contract;

• information about the identity documents of the employee and the employer;

• TIN;

• place and date of conclusion of the employment contract;

• employee's labor functions;

• the start date for performance of the working activities;

• terms of remuneration;

• working hours and rest periods.

These conditions will be saved in the employment contract.
