Stiffening of the regime of entry into Russia for citizens of Tajikistan

Citizens of Tajikistan will no longer be able to come to Russia only with internal passports of their country, as well as carry their children under 16 with birth certificates only.
Thus, on the Russian border citizens of Tajikistan will need to have an international passport, a service passport, a diplomatic passport, a seafarer’s identity document or a certificate of return to Tajikistan, issued by the embassy (in the case of repatriation of those citizens who came to Russia under the old rules.
This resolution was adopted in the execution of a list of orders of the President of the Russian Federation on the implementation of the President's Address to the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of December 12, 2012. According to this document, the Government of the Russian Federation should allow entry into Russia only with international passports for citizens of all CIS countries until 2015 (except countries of the Customs Union and the common economic space - Belarus and Kazakhstan).
