Armenian citizens will have the right to stay on the territory of Russia without registration for 30 days
Russian President signed the Federal Law №27 "On ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Armenia on the rules for the stay of citizens of the Russian Federation on the territory of the Republic of Armenia and the citizens of the Republic of Armenia on the territory of the Russian Federation." This law comes into force on 20 March, 2015.
Under the agreement, Armenian citizens temporarily residing on the territory of the Russian Federation can forgo registration by place of residence for 30 days.
While on the territory of the Russian Federation for more than 30 days, Armenian citizens need to be registered by place of residence within 7 working days after the 30-day period of stay has passed. Similar terms and conditions are extended to the citizens of the Russian Federation temporarily staying on the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
